Impulse buy

I've decided I want to own a meat thermometer. I had a 30% off coupon to Kohls, so I went there tonight to buy one. I didn't buy one. Instead I bought this little beauty:

I was so excited about it, I didn't even have time to take a picture of it between the time I bought it and the time I started using it. I have a regular sized food processor that I love, but decided that having something smaller would be great for smaller jobs. (Like the mini-batch of pesto that I made tonight.) (Which was delicious, by the way.)

Not exactly a meat thermometer, but I still got to use my coupon. (And the coupon is still valid for another couple days, so I could potentially still use it. But I might shop around first.)

I'm open to other suggestions of things I can make.

I use our mini chopper/food processor to take chunks out of stewed tomatoes to make a smoother sauce :) It also works fabulously to finely chop onions, carrots, celery, peppers, etc, especially for soups or sloppy Joes. :)
