I was at a small 4th of July gathering at a friend's house, who lives out in the country. My car was parked with the other cars on the lawn, and I wasn't even around when it happened. I'm not terribly upset about it; my car still works fine (no internal damage), and it was an accident (it was pretty dark). And the Church is still true, even when a missionary hits your car. The Church has great insurance, so I know it'll get taken care of. I'm not worried.
Still waiting for the ball to get rolling on the repairs (so many forms to file with the mission), but I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get a rental car for a few days that has AC. Mine is totally broken (will cost upwards of $1000 to fix it, so I'm not fixing it) and it's HOT here!

Wow. I've never seen that sort of damage from having a missionary back into another car. Maybe your car is totaled and you can get another one -- with A/C!
